Fuel Pump Problem

I have encounted an intermitant problem starting my 4500. On occasion when I go to start it, It will turn over fine and not start (like it is not getting fuel).I had posted this problem last fall and got some responses but was not able to narrow it down.
Yesterday I went to use it and it would not start. I unplugged then reconnected the wiring harness that goes to the fuel pump and it started right away.
Do you think I have an electrical problem with the fuel pump?? An input will appreciated.

It sounds more like a fuel solenoid problem which JD has had many problems with. Does your machine even have an electric lift (fuel) pump, I know the 4300/4400 models do not. ....
